The first EV from Indian Brand


As nowadays the Electric vehicle becomes a need of this modern era and Mahindra is ready to launch its first EV in India. Very important part of the automobile industry these days are the Electric Vehicles as to safe our fossil fuels and non-renewable resources so that the future generations can interact with them and on the other hand Pollution is also a Global problem all around the world. Only one solution is there that is switching towards the Electric Vehicles.

About the car

Mahindra announced that this Electric car will be there first car to be launched in the Mid- 2019 and it was displayed in Auto Expo 2018 with the other Electric Vehicles


Somehow the outer looks are similar with the present KUV 100 but some minute cosmetic changes are there in some areas which is very important so that it can be judged that which model is this.
Although the curves of this fabulous SUV is maintained remarked as same with the present model.
New 10 spoke Alloy wheels are there with more elegant look.


The eKUV100 could also be offered with a suite of connectivity options such as remote diagnostics, smartphone connectivity, cabin pre-cooling and location tracking. It could even have a function to track the user's driving pattern, as was present in the model showcased at the Auto Expo 2018
More easier as the gear lever is not present in the eKUV 100 so for the co-driver seat of two persons can be avail easy with any interruptions. And without gear lever it is complete 6 seater SUV present in the market.


.The front section with few chrome details in addition with the DLR's as well as the projector headlamps to improve the vision of the car on the roads. When it comes to bumper it appears to be wider and more impressive as less area is covered b the fog lights which is very good design. Although the some parts the main attractive points of the car.

The rear view of the car is upgraded with some minute changes and the taillights are very attractive as the curve above the taillight meeting at the back door is flawless. With the new eKUV which is ready to break all the records with full support form the public. As the electric car is now become a need.


Powering the eKUV100 would be the same 30kW lithium-ion battery pack which can be found in the eVerito. The vehicle can cover 140 kilometres between charges with a quick charging feature which can charge to 80 percent in less than an hour. However, a new powertrain is also expected to be offered when the car will be launched.

Last year, the automaker revealed that it is developing highly efficient electric powertrains with power outputs ranging from 90 to 165kW (120 to 204hp), and is also working on high-density batteries. They also indicated that the electrified version of its KUV100 hatchback could have a range of 350km under the EPA’s (Environmental Protection Agency) testing cycle, a top speed of 186kph and a 0-100kph time of 9sec.
