ABOUT THE CAR

The Maruti Suzuki's new MPV XL6 based upon the design of present Ertiga with some cosmetic changes this car comes with some first new segment features. This is the first car for NEXA coming up with three row Seats presenting with better Crossover Styling.




EXTERIOR


Having a look from the front angle the view it gives the glimpse that car is having something makes it more flamboyant from the present model of this car that was Ertiga. The placement of the logo is perfectly arranged among the chrome grill. The length of the car is 4475mm, width of 1775mm and height will be 1770mm. The turning radius of 5.2 meters.



The new designed LED Headlamps with integrated Day Running Lights (DRL'S) along with the indicators.The size of the headlamps is nicely optimized so that it did not appear to be a giant lights.
 .


The chrome front grill is bold and joined with the headlamps with the DLR's that is tremendous becomes the center part of attraction of the car. Moreover, the curves of the hood increase the look into a massive MPV vehicle. The work is in very precised manner with the proper craftsmanship.


The black colored cladding is introduced at the bumper along with the wheel arches to enhance the appearance of the outlook of the car. This makes the car heavier by 20kg comparing from the standard model. The silver lining below the black cladding in the sides is well organised.


The taillights are revamped with some LED introduced into it. The overview of the tailgates is amazing seems to be get a similar part like the front headlamps of the car. Somehow it feels that the size of indicators and the other light should be more as the overall size of the light is very huge.


Few cosmetic changes into the back bumper of the car with vertical reflctors along with the cladding and faux-skid plate into the middle part of the bumper seems to be well organised structure of the car. As the size of rear lights is huge but looking from the back it appeared to be a proper management with design and other parameters. 

The side view of this car is similar with the Ertiga as no changes are there except the roof rails matched with the door opening bars based upon chrome plating. There are some changes by which the car becomes 40mm wider and 10mm higher of the XL6. Ther ground clearance of the car is remains the same as 185mm.



The black 15 inch alloys and the mirror caps is same as available in Ertiga but the Black roughed theme is rocked all the way. Sometimes it feels like Maruti has to take some decisions to make larger wheel base for increasing the vehicle stability when the car is fully loaded with the passengers and the luggage.




INTERIOR


The Dual Tone Beige cabin is refreshing when enters into the cabin. The dash comes up with the well finished Faux-wood as in Ertiga. The 7 inch touchscreen instrument cluster is there in the cabin of XL6 supported with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Although it seems to be more darker cabin in all the Maruti's ambiance coming with the push button start/stop with key-less entry.
Giving more convinence by providing Auto Folding mirrors and Auto Headlamps.



The smart speedometer shows very possible sign to maintain the level of the car. As this car consist of hybrid system so the energy consumed and the left energy is always shown on the meter of the car. Based upon the blue motion theme inside lights of the cabin.


The new steering wheel inspired by the design of Swift is available with the more on steer controls to make the driving more easier. The steering wheel can be adjusted according to the requirement of the driver. The cruise control is installed in this car to make the driving more comfortable on the long routes.


The Automatic climate controls is redesigned and placed below the center console of the dash also very easy to operate while driving. The power socket and the USB port is available in second and third row. Coming up with ABS, Dual Airbags and ISOFIX mounts. The Hill hold and ESP is only available in Auto Variant.




The automatic transmission is also available in the Top model of the car for the better experiance of driving this massive car with huge power of 103 BHP with smart mild hybrid system as standard.
Giving the milage of 19.01 KMPL with Manual and 17.99 KMPL with the Auto. This car is the family car not for the fun, sport and adventures activities. The only aim is to give more comfort and convenience.
